Hello there!

I'm new to the forum and just started to notice my tinnitus a few moths ago. I have been wanting to get back into martial arts, specifically wrestling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, but I'm hesitant to do anything that could worsen my tinnitus. If anyone has experience with martial arts and tinnitus I'd love to hear what you have to say!

I would ease up on the sparring for sure...getting caught in a triangle choke could worsen your tinnitus, because you are playing with the blood flow in your head and that can't be a good thing considering the situation.

Check with your ENT Aikido would be a safer style
Check with the doctor about your stretching routine
and slow katas Remember there is more to Martial Arts than just sparing. The lessons it teaches, will always be with you.
Remember " Strength comes from Health". From a former student of Jishukanru Jiujitsu, good luck TinA#7oct
