Fairly simple quote, but it still has a lot of value to me. It’s easy to get caught up in the past. You ruminate and wonder about things you would have done differently and it becomes an endless cycle of pity and remorse. What’s done is done.

I believe this is worth a read for many people on this forum still blaming themselves every single day for the situation they are in. Some worse than others.

Sometimes we need to take a step back, put things in perspective, and accept what is - for now. We can't change the past, but we can learn how to respond better on those hard days when everything feels dark and impossible.
