Somehow i did get a HUGE spike from that kids birthday even tho i wore earplugs thru the entire 3 hours... stil very tired and felling abit "off" in the neck so hope that is the reason. the spike is only in one ear. Suchs a boomer....
Now my TTTS is back. Since this eventually went away for me and only occasionally flared up, I'm sure it will subside again but I'm scared that it won't. It's one thing after another
Everytime i feel more "normal" i go to a kids birthday and realize im still VERY senstitive to noise. Im sitting thru kids crying, screaming, laughing and 2 ballons pooped like 4-5 metres away. Its like sitting on the normandy beach during WW2 and parents just sit there and smiling at the kids and think they are sooooooo cute.... (had 20-25 DB earrplugs) still very loud to me tho
I log in usually every time there's a change or a spike. So that means, I am experiencing a spike right now unfortunately. Very quiet morning and then sudden loud ringing with some numbness. Hope it all comes back right but I guess I'll wait and see.
I recently got sick, and am experiencing SSHL. My left ear feels clogged and I can't hear anything! It's been 3 days please help. I'm terrified this is permanent.
Was on a "real resturant" for the first time in my life after i got worse tinnitus..... Lord what a nightmare, like 90 people talking simutainlously and those sitting next to us shouting and being very noisy. Hard to hear what people around me were saying so would say it was 80-90 DB. Luckily i had my Moldex 35 DB earplugs in. Was only for 1 hour but i was totally exhausted after.
Having a weird spike for a couple of days now. Been exposed to one scream pretty close to me, one door getting shut HARD by the wind because a window was open and hammering in a couple of nails fixing my roof (of course with dualprotection). Think it will be subsiding i a couple of weeks but a little bit annoying to get a boost in the sound
Got hit with a sinus infection after not being sick for quite some time. Tinnitus wasn't that bad during the illness, but yesterday when all infection symptoms were gone, whoaaa did my tinnitus spike. Need reminded, is it normal for delay tinnitus spike following illness and it more than likely isn't the Amoxicillin? (Spike came on 3 days after starting amox.)
I woke up at 5 am just now. My head really hurts and it's never been this loud before I'm so panicky I can't think of anything else but it's so so so loud and I feel like I'm back t square one. I'm so scared.
Being in extremely hot temperatures lowers my tinnitus by about half. I only realized this past summer and I'm sure it's related to either muscle tension or vasodilation. Something to remember
This condition is endlessly frustrating. Had the quietest day in almost 5 years yesterday for no apparent reason. Made me hopeful. Then today happened... and well. You all know I'm sure. Damn the luck.
I cannot bear with this anymore. I don't have guts to hurt myself but im tired my heart cannot take it anymore i never thought this will be my life but here we are please hug to your loved ones. If you have mild moderate tinnitus you can live, i never done loud things. mine is medication induced because of clueless ENT take care.
