Yes, a third of us! (That is, a third of us will be experiencing more peaceful moments in the next 5-10 years.) And this only applies to a relatively privileged group. Are you well-paid? Do you have a degree? Do you live in North America? Is your car new? Although I don't check any of these...

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

There is no unbiased research. Neuromod claims 85% of users get significant improvement from Lenire. Based on reports on Tinnitus Talk that is laughable - it is more like 30% who are a bit vague on how much it is helping. I would be less negative if it was not so expensive or if Lenire would...

...participant feedback. But as mentioned, real-world results may turn out to be far more disappointing than the study results, just like with Lenire. We can only hope that's not the case and keep our expectations in check. True. We need objective measures. And even then, the placebo effect...

If you read the Q&A by Susan Shore, she specifies that there were no side effects (except a little discomfort from the electrodes at the beginning, until you get used to it) and that the worsening present in the graph was due to exposure to loud noises (such as concerts) during treatment.

Why Is There No Cure for Tinnitus?

Sometimes I get desperate. I hadn’t talked to that Tinnitus Clinic in years. I noticed they didn’t have Lenire on their website and was wondering why. I see they have a closer location now if I decide to make an appointment.

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

It saddens me to see so many unprincipled doctors taking advantage of the desperation of tinnitus sufferers just to make money. Lenire doesn’t work, yet clinics everywhere are advertising it with claims of 80% or even 90% effectiveness. It seems no one is concerned about the lack of regulation...

It's not what I think, it's what has actually happened. Lenire is approved. Auricle/Shore is not. I hope like everyone it gets approved quickly, but they could be doing much more to raise start-up funds.

My tinnitus had already been better for sometime after using Lenire, combined with healthy lifestyle and tincture of time starting back in 2020. I think you are trying to sew doubts about Dr. Shore's device and make up stories, much like you did on the Lenire device. People can look at your posts and see that for themselves. You called Lenire "like using Russian roulette," among other overly negative posts. Lenire worked for some on...

I think the main differences are: 1) Timing. Timing is the most important in bimodal stimulation. Lenire might just have bad timings or a delay due to Bluetooth. 2) Sounds. Lenire plays keyboard-like sounds with rain-like white noise in the background. What's the point of having any timings...

Also, don’t forget the sampling bias for one audiologist who will happily profit from selling it to you. Many people who are not on Tinnitus Talk will buy it, realize it doesn’t work for them, and put it in a cupboard forever. Sampling bias works both ways.
