I didn't see Allegra-D listed as ototoxic on the websites I looked at. FWIW, I have bad seasonal allergies, and sinus issues in general, and have been taking Benadryl for 20-30 years at night. Never had any issues w/ tinnitus and it definitely helps me sleep better.

This was also my understanding? That the second gen (i.e. Zyrtec, Aerius, etc.) are not a problem, and instead ones like Benadryl are more concerning. I would love to know as I fight allergies daily.

It's most likely allergies.

also look at your lipids also ive seen it correlates with strong history of allergies. keep allergies away if in doubt make an IgE total to rule out allergies

If it's due to allergies, then you can treat the allergies, which is what you are doing. I don't know that there is anything else to do.

Allergies can make your eustachian tube swell and get clogged wich creates pressure in your ears and ringing. Allergies and tinnitus is definatly connected.

Allergist here and get 4 shots every week to treat non-food allergies. Sadly, I was told there's no shot for food allergies; you just have to change your diet. FWIW.

Hi, sinusitis can be caused by allergies. I have been getting allergy injections for 20 years and they have been a tremendous from suffering from seasonal allergies. Also, I can avoid potentially harmful allergy medications. Seeing an allergist might be a good idea. Good luck.

I buy my fish oil pills from Xtend-Life out of New Zealand. I don't think you will find a more pure fish oil pill. Most fish oil pills are made with Anchovies (a bottom feeder fish). They use Tuna and the New Zealand Hoki fish from the pristine waters.

I use Singular once a day and Tylenol Sinus when needed. It is not regular Tylenol. My allergies are from fish, environmental perfume, trees and grass. My allergies did not come after tinnitus. I've had them for years. I just use those two and my tinnitus is the same.
