If the cause of tinnitus is nerve damage to the hair cells sticking needles in is not going to help unless your susceptible to the placebo effect. I had acupuncture and Chinese medicine years ago for chronic nausea the practitioner told me I'd be better within 2 weeks, it did nothing.

Yeah if I learned how to do it very well, that’s a good idea. I usually don’t get worse from the short drives over but I really hate leaving the house during the day. Everything hurts. Would save me a lot of money too.

That's safer. Chiropractics are mostly quacks and they can make tinnitus worse. Acupuncture doesn't help tinnitus. These therapies might help make your mind feel better but won't reduce your tinnitus loudness.

Just an update. My ringing has now gone. Just under 10 days after noise exposure. I had two sessions of acupuncture that seemed to help greatly. :)

I have tried accupuncture and it also provides temporary relief from H and T. It is like going to the physiotherapist, stretching etc. They all can help with the symptoms but cannot cure T or H, specially when they are triggered again by noise.
