Hearing Loss and Severe Tinnitus — From Loving Life to Suicidal in 2 Months

I'm back on the benzos and alcohol after I swore off them. I just want not to care, just for a little while. Just like I used to, I want to get lost in my mind again, but the door is locked, and I can't get in there anymore. That was my safe place, and it's gone because everything in my life is...

    Alcohol Spiking Tinnitus

@Bryce - Alcohol helps my tinnitus today, but I gave it up for at least 2 months when t started. I didn't trust myself with alcohol and was solely focused on figuring out the cause for my t when it started. We are all different though. Alcohol (in moderation) has a positive impact on my tinnitus...

Why Does Alcohol Seem to Reduce the Severity of My Tinnitus? Coincidence or Not?

Drinking alcohol lessens my tinnitus. Very rarely will my tinnitus will lessen on its own, very rarely. However, a few cocktails seem to lessen it considerably... for a short period anyway. I'm not advocating 'converting' to alcoholism, but when all else fails, you go with what works...

I'm not sure about tinnitus, but mixing MDMA with alcohol can give bad reactions. It's not a guarantee and there's definitely people that do enjoy this, but you are at an increased risk to have nausea, anxiety as well as even more reduced inhibition leading to stupid decisions (taking more...

Caffeine (Including Coffee and Soft Drinks) and Its Effect on Tinnitus

Hi, Ever since the onset of my pulsatile tinnitus, I quit all coffee (caffeine) and any alcohol, per doctor's orders. I suppose that's good for me. In the future, I’d like to have a glass of wine with the wife. Do any of you tinnitus sufferers drink alcohol in small moderation? Will...

    Clonazepam (Klonopin, Rivotril)

6 drinks is probably a week's worth of alcohol, or should be.
