You have every right to express the fact you've been dealt a bad hand @tpj, no judgement here (as you know).

Now this is interesting. So, I have never seen The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
I was a very busy bee between the ages of 16 and 20 (when I was physically at my fittest), so didn't stop to watch many films (even though I f*cking love film).

Anyway, when illness had finally slowed my life down enough to watch the films I wanted to see, musicals were out of the question (because of the obvious). Although I recently made an exception for Frozen (but that's because I wasn't expecting much from it anyway, so was happy to skip a few songs).

A bit like what I wrote in the Favourite Video Games thread recently, there are a couple of things in media I am foregoing until the day I can properly enjoy them, and your favourite movie is one of those things.

Nice to know Richard O'Brien foresaw my arrival in hell though.

 

I was going to say I can't believe you've never seen The Rocky Horror Picture Show but as I continued to read, I burst into tears, being reminded of how young you were when your hell started.

I hope and pray with absolutely every fibre of my being that one day @Damocles, one day you'll be able to watch this musical like no other and get as much a kick out of it as I did. x
