I was thinking the same thing, everyone looks healthy. Hard to believe how much pain we are in.

The root canal went better than I ever expected. I explained my situation to the dentist, and he was very understanding, allowing me to wear my ear muffs and taking breaks with the drill without me having to ask. Furthermore, since the tooth was/is already broken, I only underwent drilling for about three minutes or so, but I might be wrong on that.

My ears are a teensy bit sore, but as long as I don't get a delayed spike, or a spike from the Amoxicillin (which I hear is usually safe) or the pain meds, I should be ok.

Now I only have the crown to worry about.

 

That’s amazing to hear! Makes so much difference when people actually take our condition seriously, rather than laughing it off, or worse - saying, “you’ll be fine”.

As for Amoxicillin, you shouldn’t have any problems. I’m always on Amoxicillin because of lung infections, and it’s never once caused me any issues.

 

Not gonna lie, given we are all consigned to the same shared instance of oblivion, I expected more flirting in this thread.
