Hello everyone, the past 3 days I've had a sore throat and my tinnitus has been spiking more often but going back to base just after a minute and I realize it's a little bit louder now, is this normal? Should I take any meds or wait it out?

I haven’t experienced voices stuck in my head, but I do get repetitive sounds and simple tunes, like a phone ringing. I’ve had an ambulance siren stuck in my head for about three months now. I’d take that any day over more disturbing sounds, like whistles and screeches, which I hear during spikes.

The only thing I consume that I can 100% say definitely affects my tinnitus is alcohol. It always spikes my tinnitus. Luckily I've never been a big drinker.

Jeez, if you can’t be supportive or positive, then don’t say anything. Tinnitus is not something people get by being “stupid”; it’s often the result of doing everyday things. Some people are just unlucky, while others seem to get away without any issues.
