You could look up middle ear myoclonus (MEM) . That's the umbrella term for stapedial spasms and TTTS. Muscle relaxers help some, and tenotomy as a last resort also could be helpful.

No, actually it got worse now, because I got palatal myoclonus. So now I hear the clicking in my ears too. Also the muscle relaxant they prescribed me caused the subjective tinnitus to come back... It's been tough.
