My avatar is Carl from The Walking Dead TV show, he is my favorite character so I decided to use him since I use him on a lot of websites.

My avatar is a picture of a park in town I took last fall. That path leads you over a hill and then down to a beautiful stream. I bet that stream would be some sweet white noise!

Mine is of homicide detective Columbo played by Peter Falk.
Columbo (TV Series 1971–2003)

Columbo is a shrewd but inelegant blue-collar homicide detective whose trademarks include his shambling manner, rumpled beige raincoat, cigar smoking, and generally disheveled appearance. His suspects are often affluent members of high society who carefully cover their tracks.

I took this picture in 2010 along the Kings Road, in Brighton. I had driven down from London for the day, and sat on a bench eating fish & chips by the seafront. Seagulls flocked around me eagerly waiting to have some of my lunch. When I refused, some drew in closer and I felt a little threatened by this. I offered some chips and they devoured them in seconds. Seagulls can be quite aggressive and will often snatch food from people walking along the seafront.

This picture brings back a lot of memories for I was going through a very difficult time with my tinnitus. I found peace and solace whenever by the sea. It was then I decided it was where I want to live and moved to Brighton in 2014.

Thanks to profound hearing loss and tinnitus, I am an oboist who no longer plays the oboe. My avatar shows the music from "Gabriel's Oboe".

 

It's actually me (with a mic) playing a concert in 2016. It was a small Heavy Metal festival within the city. Two fun days in the middle of May.

 

My username has silver in it... I just googled silver and found this lol.

Not entirely the subject, but my username is literally a combination of two words I've often used in usernames - silver and light. Never together though. Silver is actually a very old nickname/name I used to go by online as a teenager, and it's still the name I turn to when I don't want to reveal my real name.
