Hello, I have tinnitus at my left ear (acoustic trauma, gun shot). But when I turn my head left my tinnitus increases. Not when I turn my head to right, only happens when to left. Why could it be? Does anyone have any idea? Thanks.

Sounds quite a bit like my case. Did you happen to have some kind of neck/head trauma before your T set in? There are some situations where noise is not the trigger.

Do you have jaw, neck issues, head trauma, brain issues? Do you experience ear pain, chronic ear fullness, do some sounds sound too loud or abnormally loud?

If your doctor verified that there is head trauma, then it's not just he said she said. Would your doctor be able to testify that it was the trauma that caused all your problems? My tinnitus was caused by someone else too, no legal recourse in my case, but it doesn't sound as severe as yours.

It could very well be due to allergies. Did you have recently any head or neck trauma (whiplash e.g.) or do you work in a noisy work environment (a hidden hearing loss)?

I did not have head trauma. I don't know why I got tinnitus but it is possibly from over-exposure to noise. Assuming the reason for my tinnitus is repeat over-exposures to noise, but that I don't have much hearing loss even in the higher frequencies, what are the chances of my tinnitus going away?

Stop wearing head-phones if you have suffered from acoustic trauma. I learned the hard way as well, even if set at a low volume headphones can still do more damage.

Almost the same here. First trauma in 2004, second one in 2015 and permanent huge increase. 20dB to 60dB hearing loss. So I'll read your posts about LLLT with interest.
