If you don’t work in a noisey work environment that would cause you spikes, than you shouldn’t be wearing hearing protection there. It might have to do with allergies. I have talked many times while wearing hearing protection and have not had issues as long as you weren’t screaming.

Hi @Gin, Never heard of Menieres causing hives. Allergies can spike tinnitus so Menieres could be triggered also . Hope the antihistamine soon gets the hives under control and maybe find the trigger . Love glynis x
