    That was not true for me. I've tried all sorts of medications and Trobalt was the only one that silenced my tinnitus (while on it). Alcohol makes my tinnitus worse, Gabapentin helps me sleep but does not lower my tinnitus. The effect from Trobalt was profound.

    @RunningMan I find myself holding out for those days of respite. Hopelly the interval between now and your next tolerable period is short. I haven't found a solid connection between diet/activity and tinnitus response; albeit I avoid caffeine and alcohol now much to my displeasure.

    Indeed it is @Joe Cuber, but I'm getting used to it. Not sure it is improving per se, more that my brain filters it out more as I get used to it. Stress/alcohol/lack of sleep (usual culprits) seems to make it worse. I figure I'm not blind (yet) so may as well live life.
