I'd advise against anti-anxiety meds as they can lead you down a worse path with addiction, personally I've been taking natural supplements that induce anti-anxiety reaction like griffonia pills, eating passion fruit etc.

It's a minefield, almost all anti anxiety medications have tinnitus as a side effect. Have you considered CBD oil (no THC)?

I also have depression and anxiety; I am on an anti-depressant called Fluoxetine, I have been on it for many years. It helps me to manage my depression and anxiety, while not effecting my tinnitus.

One of the things that bothers me is the exclusion criteria when it comes to a lot of the trials. I have attempted to sign up for a couple but they always list antidepressants or anti anxiety meds are exclusions. This eliminates a lot of people who would be willing to enter trials.

For anxiety you can try breathing/relaxation exercises, as well as CBT, and if you need chemical help you may want to talk to your doc about anti-anxiety meds. You're probably better off if you can manage your anxiety without meds though.

Stay away from loud noise, relax and take anti anxiety meds, that's helping reduce the volume for me.

Anti depressants aren't addictive, but yes I take Ativan (lorazepam) for anxiety and it calms me down massively

SSRI SNRI tricyclic tetracyclic benzos are all ototoxic. All the previous listsings in the post are ototoxic. There is no anti anxiety drug that is not ototoxic. Maybe RTG is no ototoxic and helps with anxiety
