Most hearing aids are only good up to 8 kHz. If your hearing loss is in the high frequencies (as is mine), hearing aids will be useless.

I did turn this around 2 times with white noise generators and so can you. Unfortunately there is no quick fix. You have to give it time.

Implants and prostethics can never be substitutes for natural hearing. The day natural restoration comes, the market for hearing aids and implants will definitely go down.
