    Noise-Induced Hyperacusis and "Reactive" / Sound-Sensitive Tinnitus 80% Gone

Hi all, I've been reading this forum for over a year now but hadn't made an account myself. Today I made one to post my story, in the hopes that it will benefit those of you who are still struggling. I've been suffering from noise-induced hyperacusis and tinnitus for about a year. I might post...

If you try, be careful and pay attention to any increase in tinnitus intensity. We, with reactive tinnitus, won the lottery omg. I think the TRT help «decrease» the T for some people because it helps them to habituate, they stay calmer and consequently the brain stops focusing so much in the...

For almost what felt like two weeks, the high pitched reactive sounds in my head/right ear had basically vanished. Can My Tinnitus Turn Reactive?

We all agree about what reactive tinnitus is, except @Michael Leigh. It does not matter whether it is a medical condition or not. How Do You Adapt to / Live with a Very Reactive Tinnitus?

I'm struggling with my 6 weeks old tinnitus. Unlike many tinnitus here, it seems to follow a pretty standard pattern. The more sounds I'm exposed to during the day, the louder it gets. Doesn't matter how loud the sound is, a day with a very low PC-fan wearing earplug and T will eventually...

@makeyourownluck. Each ear is different. T is one-sided. Loud low-bass rumbling, with PT in background being it's motor. Seems -behind- ear, reverberating via bone conduction so strong at times throughout body, alike a live electrical current in water. Both ears are very reactive to sound.
