No, there is no evidence that spikes cause any worsening of your hearing or any other condition.

Success is understanding that there will be days that completely overwhelm you. This is the irony of living with a chronic condition. Spikes are extremely common and can certainly take a toll. Be patient. You are making progress. Spikes are simply a part of that journey forward.
