I Give Up. I Have a Disability. I Need to Change My Life. Completely.

I was stupid enough to go inside a nightclub yesterday. It was this newcomers party at my school I started. We spent evening in a nearby park, no music there, but then people moved in to a nightclub. So, as I knew I didn't want to spend hours in nightclub, I just went into nightclub for about 40...

Why Hyperacusis Comes Back After Being in a Loud Enviroment?

I've been gone from the forums for a while. I've been taking vacation from my problems (thanks to the movie: What About Bob?) and I've been taking baby steps back to normal life. I have even been to the gym again! My ears could finally handle all the sounds of metal (music and weights). So it's...

My Tinnitus Changed More Into White Noise from High-Pitched Whine

At first my tinnitus was this high pitch steady noise. Now it's more like hiss and white noise and the high pitch whine has moved to background. Is this good? Why Tinnitus Makes Internal Sounds Louder?

I have never heard my jaw muscles in my ear. But after getting tinnitus, I can hear a hissing swoosh when I clench my jaw together. It seems tinnitus amplifies the sounds that are inside our head. At least that is how I feel. I have normal hearing according to an audiogram.
