I've always had reactive T. Though, I don't think it is as reactive as some other people's. I have time periods where it's more or less.

I agree with Billys comments about reactive t being linked to H. My reactive t/hyperacusis has significantly improved with adipose derived stem cells. My spikes have vastly improved as well.

H is brutal, T changed sooo much in the wrong direction. Intermittent tones became constant and louder, reactive.... And they are many... :(

I really can't say if it can or can't make things worse. I only know that it is your why of coping.. I think t also can worsen out of the blue...

I have reactive T along with the normal T and I'm really struggling with it. While the normal T could be masked with background noise, it makes my reactive T noise go nuts, it sounds like a jet engine. So makes it near impossible to habituate to.

Hello, has your reactive T improved?

If you have reactive T/H I would consider giving LLLT a try instead. My reactive effects are mostly gone by 80% and it was quite bad a few months ago. Won't cure baseline T but habituation will be a lot easier once the reactive part is out of the picture. And sound quality better too

My T hasn't been reactive, and I confess to not paying enough attention when reading posts by people with reactive T. Hopefully someone with this type of T will be able to answer your question. You might also consider avoidance.

Severely reactive T is absolute torture.

Hey @Marshall ! I have read some of your posts about how working out has helped you immensely. Wanted to know what kind of workouts you did with reactive tinnitus? My T gets revved up by just my heart rate going up! But I know how important it is to maintain health.
