    Taurine also spikes my tinnitus even at 500 mg. Glycine does not; it definitely calms it. I did take Trazodone and Ativan for a while, but not enough, I think, to cause an interaction. I am not going to take it again until someone can explain why it is worse for some people than for others.

    That is not good, I don't know why medical personnel don't seem to be aware of the tinnitus risks of some drugs. Standard antidepressants made mine spike, so did the antibiotics I had to take. Good news is, the spikes weren't permanent. Hope it is the same for you.
