Ok. I just wanted confirmation. I wouldn't describe it as burning. Anxiety? I have had anxiety before this and never got ear pain as a result.

Loudness hyperacusis. Although I’ve had many various feelings of discomfort, I wouldn’t describe it as real pain. In the acute stage I believe I had some burning feelings but those memories don’t stick with me too much.

Same here. Mine is totally gone but I almost certainly still am susceptible to relapses but can handle more and more noise all the time. Very slow improvements though. I still have tinnitus the same, but pain is gone for now, thankfully.
