Hello. I read in one of your comments, that you experience fleeting tinnitus. I also have that several times a day, and it scares the f... out of me. How long have you had it for, ans does it always go away quickly?

I wanted to know how you've been doing with the fleeting episodes? Have they come back?

Nothing like being woken up at 3:30am by a fleeting t that will take hours to completely die down. Makes for a great night.

My fleeting episodes are always high pitched... i said before that I also hold open as an option that my low hum is a consequence of high frequency loss... I just damaged something thoroughly in there, a nerve or whatever.

Nope, not fleeting tinnitus. My spikes are 100% caused by exposure to "loud" environments. I get fleeting tinnitus too, sometimes.

It actually seemed to settle down. I didn't have any of these episodes at all in the last month. I don't know what caused it, I think stress and psychological distress were factors and also inflammation.
