My hearing loss is mild at 4 kHz - 7 kHz, touching 40/45 dB (left/right) at 8 kHz. US insurance (two different insurers) never gave me any pushback on paying for my hearing aids. They don’t do a thing for my tinnitus, but they make for an awesome set of Bluetooth headphones.

If you have moderate to severe hearing loss, a pair of hearing aids may help. They have dramatically helped me. You will know within 10 minutes of trying them if they will help you or not.
